Hortons' Estate Limited is privately owned by the Horton Family and currently has a net asset value in excess of £200 million. Members of the family are on the Main Board as non-executive directors including the Deputy Chairman Peter Horton. Richard Samuda was appointed to the Board in 2004 and he became Chairman in April 2008 following the retirement of Michael Horton.
